國際周倒數6天 International Week 6 Days to Go

今天受訪的是來自聖露西亞的 Aisha Tyler，究竟他在台灣的生活，是怎麼樣呢? 讓我們一起來欣賞 ~

Interviewee: Aïsha Atherly (from St. Lucia) (A)

T: Can you make a short introduction of your country?
T: 你可以大概介紹一下你的國家嗎?

A: It is a tropical island located in the Caribbean, east of Central America.
It is only about 238 square miles. That is like two of Taipei!
The population is approximately 170,000. The native language is English but there is another local language called 'French Creole' or 'Kweyol'. It is a very beautiful place! I have some albums on facebook and I can show you.
A: 我的國家聖露西亞是位於中美洲西邊，在加勒比海中的一座熱帶島嶼。它的大小只有238平方英里，相當於兩個台北的大小。而我們的人口有170,000人，當地的母語為英語以及當地的方言叫'French Creole'或是'Kweyol'。它是個很美麗的地方!我在facebook上有些聖露西亞的照片，我可以拿給你看。

T: Why do you want to join in the international week this year?
T:為什麼你今年會想參加呢?

A: I joined this year because I think it was a positive experience to give others a chance to learn about the country as not many people know about it...or anything about the Caribbean.
A:我今年參加國際週的原因，是因為這個活動是一個具正面意義的活動，能夠給其他人一個機會認識我的國家，雖然並不是很多人認識我的國家和加勒比海的人。

T:Do you have any special experience at the internetional week last year?
T:在去年的國際周，你有任何特別的經驗嗎?

A: Well I think the whole day was special (the exhibition and talent show) because it not only helped Taiwanese to understand our culture but it brought the foreign students together in a way to understand each other’s culture...enjoyed it.
A : 這個嘛~我覺得去年萬博那整天都很有趣，因為那不只讓台灣人了解我們的文化，但同時也在台的外籍生能夠有機會聚在一起互相交流，我非常沉浸在那氛圍中~

T: How about this year?
T:那今年呢?

A: This year we are going to have flower’s festivals’ !!! We will have 'La Rose Queen' and ‘La Marguerite King’ then. And we will have other activities on that day. Come and join us on the international week.
A: 今年我們將會有‘flower festivals’!!! 在那天，我們將會有'La Rose Queen' 和‘La Marguerite King’，而在那天我們還會舉辦各式各樣的活動。大家快來加入我們，並一起享受國際周吧!
